61 Castleton Avenue

About

61 Castleton is a supported living service for five adults diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and learning difficulties. This service is homely and it is situated in the heart of the vibrant city of Wembley.

We are close to local shops and amenities but also in a quiet residential area. The service is about five minutes walk from Wembley High Road. People who use our service have access to local shops and a good transport network. London Overground, Southern Trains and Bakerloo lines are regular at Wembley Central station. Also, there are regular buses running from Wembley Park station (Jubilee line and Metropolitan Line).

At 61 Castleton, the staff team is diverse, friendly and professional. They help in providing a homely atmosphere for our service users and their families. We are open 24 hours daily and the service is adequately staffed to meet the needs of each service user.

Our Aims

Our aim is to fully engage our service users in maximising their potential and to promote service user involvement, choice, rights and autonomy in providing care. We also aim to promote an atmosphere of continuous learning by promoting daily living skills development within and outside the service.

How we Work

We work with our service users, stakeholders and families collaboratively. We promote effective communication within the service by using communication tools such as 1:1 engagement, Makaton, verbal communication art and effective listening.
